behavioral output provides the foundation for this course. The way young

their learning, development and behavior. During this presentation, educators
and therapists will increase their knowledge related to the impact of
sensorimotor issues on speech, language and social-emotional development. An
overview of the external and internal sensory systems will be provided along
with a discussion of observable characteristics related to sensory
over-responsivity, sensory under-responsivity and sensory craving behaviors.
Participants will examine the benefits of using multisensory activities to help
young children interact more effectively with their environment.
