MTSS Cadre 1 Intensification Session 1: Applying Response Rules

District/School MTSS Implementation Team Members including
Interventionists; Reading coaches; Special Education Director or Teacher(s);
School Psych who work with students receiving intervention support Description:
This professional learning opportunity is designed to build participant
knowledge and skills to analyze progress for students receiving interventions
and plan for intensification of interventions for groups of students whose
progress is not on track to meet goals. Presenters will demonstrate application
of decision rules to analyze progress of students receiving intervention and
then participants will have the opportunity to apply their decision rules to
analyze students’ response to interventions. Presenters will share a process
for analyzing issues around intervention content and delivery to identify areas
in which to intensify interventions and matching intensification techniques and
strategies to meet intervention group needs. Participants will have the
opportunity to problem solve, plan for intensification of interventions, and
develop intensification plans for their intervention groups with support from
presenters.
Sub reimbursements, mileage
& registration will be provided/covered for participants that are
part of the ESU 9 PEaK project.
