Take the “Emergency” out of Remote Learning: Applied Tech Tools (Day 2 of 3)
June 16, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
During the past few standstills, yet whirlwind, months, we’ve all done our best as educational first responders in this pandemic. We’ve triaged, supported and nurtured learning from afar using any tools we could muster. And while we don’t know what school will look like in the fall and beyond, we can be fairly confident that it will continue to require flexibility and adaptation in how we deliver instruction and assess learning. So let’s get ready now to be less stressed in the fall!
1) Educators will apply existing skills with G Suite in ways that are innovative, pedagogically sound and student-focused. 2) Educators will explore apps and use and tools that prompt creative lesson design, offer new ways for students to demonstrate learning and inspire innovative teaching in multiple learning formats.
