ESU 9 welcomes three employees to their staff for the 2018-2019 school year. They are:

Megan Welch, Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP), lives in Grand Island and has a strong background helping children at Boys Town Services. She has been a leader in working with children and families.
She will provide service in Aurora, Harvard, Giltner, Hampton and Silver Lake Public Schools. |

Jordon Messersmith, Speech Language Pathologist, is a native of Hastings, and a graduate of UNK. He has had experience working with elementary students from a variety of backgrounds.
Jordon will be at Silver Lake Public Schools. |

Kathleen (Katie) Marten, D/HH Interpreter, and her husband have been in Hastings for about a year. Her husband Joseph grew up in Hastings and is a pilot for Spirit Airlines. Kathleen grew up as a “Military Brat” moving from one community to another. They have five children ranging in ages from 5 to 13. Kathleen has been a Sign Language Interpreter for 13 years, and we are so excited and blessed to have her as part of our D/HH department!
Katie will work .5 in Harvard every afternoon. |
